Glen Oaks Community College Announces 2025 Athletics Hall Of Fame Inductees
Bobby Fish and Mike Voyles recognized for baseball careers.
Glen Oaks Community College is proud to announce the 2025 inductees into its Athletic Hall of Fame, which recognizes former athletes, coaches and contributors who have significantly impacted the college's athletic legacy. This year's ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. on the concourse of the college. The ceremony will kick off the 2024-25 Awards Banquet.
The 2025 Inductees:
Bobby Fish (Baseball, 1997-98)
Fish attended Glen Oaks and played baseball in the 1997 and 1998 seasons. He was a third baseman/shortstop in 1997 and hit .387 with 45 RBIs, 15 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 home runs. Bobby was an All-MCCAA First Team selection and was named to the 1997 All-Region XII Tournament Team that year as a freshman.
As a sophomore in 1998, Fish took over as the Vikings' starting shortstop and hit .460 - which included 19 doubles, 4 triples, 10 HRs, and 66 RBIs. In 1998, Fish made First Team All-MCCAA, First Team All-Region XII, and was a First Team All-American selection.
Fish, a product of Ligonier, IN, holds Glen Oaks career records in hits (145), batting average (.428) and RBIs (111). He went on to play at NCAA Division I Coastal Carolina after his time at Glen Oaks.
Mike Voyles (Baseball, 1999-2000)
Voyles came from New Washington, IN, and was a First-Team All-American at Glen Oaks in 2000. That year he posted a .433 batting average with 61 hits, 48 runs, 43 RBIs, 16 doubles, 2 triples, 8 HR's, and a .745 slugging percentage. Voyles was also named Region XII Tournament MVP, Region XII Player of the Year and landed on the Academic All-Conference and Academic All-Regional teams in 2000.
Voyles continued his career at NCAA Division I Murray State University.
