Viking baseball players honored by MCCAA
CENTREVILLE, Mich. — Several players from the Glen Oaks Vikings baseball program received postseason recognition from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) following the 2026 season.
Leading the way for Glen Oaks was sophomore Erick Marin, who earned Second Team All-Western Conference honors after a strong season against conference competition. Marin finished with 51 hits, 28 RBI and hit .347 for the year.
The Vikings also placed six players on the MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention list:
The honors recognize the contributions of Glen Oaks players throughout the 2026 season in one of the MCCAA's most competitive baseball conferences.
The postseason awards were selected by conference coaches and released as part of the 2026 MCCAA and Region 12 Baseball Awards announcement.
Glen Oaks competed in the MCCAA Western Conference alongside programs including Kellogg Community College, Lansing Community College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Lake Michigan College and Marian University Ancilla.
