Koenig ties for medalist, GOCC golf second at Jackson

The Glen Oaks Community College men's golf team competed in its second tournament of the season Friday, finishing second at the Jackson College Invitational at Arbor Hills Golf Club. Sophomore Cole Koenig tied for medalist honors with a round of 73. He tied Delta" Nathan Cleghorn for the lowest round of the day. 

Grand Rapids took the team title with a score of 312. The Vikings, by way of a tiebreaker against Montcalm, finished runner-up with a team total of 313. 

Fellow GOCC sophomore George Pullen posted a round of 79. 

The Vikings are back in action Monday, April 22, at the Muskegon Community College Invitational.
