Vikings wrap up fall golf at home invite
Triemstra and Edwards both shoot 80 for GOCC.
The Glen Oaks Community College men's golf team hosted Trine and Marian University's Ancilla College Wednesday at Klinger Country Club to round out the fall slate, finishing third with a score of 325.
Ancilla, led by Juan Pablo Benovente's medalist round of 72, finished with 310. Trine, which had a team total of 316, had three players dip into the 70s.
The Vikings fielded two squads, with the green team carding a 325, led by Connor Triemstra's round of 80. Trevor Barrett had an 81, followed by Xander Gorham (82), Cameron Bingaman (82) and Gaven Lewis (86). The Yellow squad finished with 337 and was paced by Fisher Edwards' effort of 80. Kayden LaClair finished with 81, Logan Pflug ended the day with a round of 86 and Isaiah Ryall had a 90 for GOCC.
