Vikings best Bethel JV
GOCC women move to 4-1
With every player on the Glen Oaks Community College women's basketball roster getting into the scoring column, the Vikings improved to 4-1 Monday after an 82-44 victory on the road against Bethel University's JV team.
Shooting 50 percent (20-for-40) from inside the arc and hitting a total of 20 3-pointers, GOCC remained in control the whole way, increasing a 43-24 halftime lead with a 19-9 run in the third quarter and a 20-9 advantage in the fourth.
Eliana Wilson paced the Vikings with a 21-point night and 13 rebounds. She also had four steals. Sarah DeKoning dropped a trio of 3-pointers en route to 13 points, two rebounds and an assist. Both Lilyana Coleman and Kylie Quist ended the night with 12 points. Quist also chipped in two boards, three assists and a steal, while Coleman contributed six rebounds and five assists.
The program has an extended break until jumping back into action Dec. 1 at Kirtland Community College.
