Host Ancilla College build an 18-point halftime lead Monday against Glen Oaks and held on for a 56-41 win in MCCAA Western Conference play.
The Chargers, who are still in the conference title hunt at 11-8 overall and 4-2 in the Western division, was led by a 13-point outing by Emma Nelson. Glen Oaks dropped to 6-14 overall and 1-5 in league play. Kennedy Lockett and Jordyn Partee paced the Vikings with 13 points apiece. Braylyn Hernandez added 5 points, Cami Turpin had 4 and Leigha Shudell, Tracy Ackley and Tayler Denton each had 2.
